Evan started his career in film and television but found his true calling in advertising 15 years ago. He is a Swiss army knife of talent, starting as an editor, excelling as a writer, and finding his element as a creative director. He has done nearly every job within a creative department, from which he has honed a sharp aesthetic and keen sense of storytelling that he brings to all channels.
He has crafted extraordinarily successful, engaging campaigns for L’Oreal, HomeAdvisor, Angie’s List, Angi, LeafFilter, Norton LifeLock, 3M, and Dyson. While always delivering campaigns focusing on building brands and delivering ROI, Evan and his creative and products teams are committed to advancing the ways brands engage their consumers and achieve the results they are looking for.
Evan received a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Video Production from Columbia College Chicago. He finds that most often great creative comes from genuine curiosity. He is a creative leader who loves delving into all the work that has been done by every person who has touched a project, prior to landing in the hands of the creative team. He believes this enhances perspective and creates immense understanding for outstanding ideas that break norms and deliver results. He believes exceptional teams are committed to creating new kinds of effective advertising, pushing themselves to be better and supporting their clients in thinking bigger for growth.
When he is not working in advertising, he enjoys nature photography, rock climbing and searching for decent deep-dish pizza with his wife, son, and daughter. However, as much as he loves the West Coast, he still occasionally misses a Chicago-style hot dog.
