Steve D’Amico

Steve leads the team that brings strategic insights to client engagements, working in tandem with media planning to identify and capitalize on media opportunities for clients; as well as overseeing research such as advertising lift analyses, media mix modeling, econometric studies and more.
In a prior role as Hawthorne’s VP, Group Account Director, Steve led the account management team.
A media industry veteran, Steve held key leadership positions at Omnicom, RAPP, Integrated Media Solutions and other agencies prior to joining Hawthorne and also served as a consultant, directing the strategy and management of integrated media campaigns with a data-driven focus. Steve has executed successful campaigns for major brands across multiple sectors, orchestrating TV buys in Australia, Canada, the UK and the US. Steve’s client work includes campaigns for AAA Auto Insurance, Angie’s List, Credit One Bank, Dexcom, Disney, Equifax, GotPrint, HomeAdvisor, J.G. Wentworth, Liberty Medical, Penn Foster, thredUP, UnitedHealthcare and Zulily.
Steve holds an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School and earned his undergraduate degree from Cal Poly Pomona. Still harboring rock star dreams, Steve can be found playing guitar at local events and bars when he’s not working. He referees youth soccer and loves to spend time with his family and their rescue mutt, Lucky.
