Running a family business has its own unique set of challenges atop the already complex task of operating a successful enterprise. Our CEO, Jessica Hawthorne-Castro, recently joined the expert panel at the inaugural Southern California NxtGens Nexus event at Porsche of Beverly Hills to share some of the insights she gained after purchasing the agency from her father, Tim Hawthorne. David Choi, who leads Loyola’s Family Business Entrepreneurship Program, moderated the event which, in addition to Jessica, included panelists Alex Canter – Canter’s Deli & Twenty40 Ventures and Kyler Gilbert from Business Consulting Resources.
